Wired.com’s article mentioned another kind of tracking cookies used by many sites which we may have overlooked. Many sites (like Google and eBay) are storing their local tracking objects with Flash plug-in. When you clear the cookies in your browsers, these objects is not removed. You need to manually delete these items, or if you are using Firefox, there is an extension to help.
