Newer is not always better…

Newest software may seem cool but not always better than their previous versions. Sometimes they just go into a wrong direction — adding useless functions and make them become monster big and horribly slow. I have come across a website claimed that they have the old versions for popular programs. Quite promising but some links are just not working very well. Worth a look, though.

    Thanks for this. I did not know about this and this has proved to be a really useful web site for me. I’ve finally found a one-step source for when I format and lose my favorite versions of programs. I was also pleasanly surprised to see Everest Home Edition there! Great post :)
